The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Mahama Naser Toure, has passed away at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a period of illness.

Mr. Toure, a fourth-term legislator, was a prominent figure in Parliament, serving in several key capacities. He was the Vice Chairman of the Energy Committee and also sat on the Roads and Transport Committee, the House Committee, as well as the Private Members’ Bills and Motions Committee.
