Mr Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, one of the five aspirants contesting the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) flagbearer position, has revealed the amount he spends in each constituency on his campaigns.

He has also pledged to prioritise the interests of delegates and address long-standing grievances within the party.

Speaking about his campaign approach and expenditure, Agyapong revealed that he spends approximately GHS 30,000 per constituency, significantly less than some of his competitors who reportedly spend up to GHS 400,000. He argued that while he may not match the financial resources of other candidates, his focus is on delivering real results and representing delegates’ concerns rather than relying on money to win support.

“Among the five candidates, I believe I am the one Ghanaians will trust most,” he said. “I have personally experienced discrimination within the party, and if entrusted with leadership, I will understand the pain and worries of members and work to improve their welfare.”

Agyapong added: “I present a fresh lease of light for the party and Ghana. I am an achiever; I work hard, and when given power, I will not disappoint. Delegates should vote wisely for the person who can deliver, not just the one with the deepest pockets.”
