Accra’s streets came alive today as 5,000 entrepreneurs, dreamers, and change makers from every corner of the world walked side by side in what is now recognized as the largest entrepreneurship walk in human history; the 5,000 Entrepreneurs March.

The march, an initiative of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF), symbolized unity, resilience, and the unstoppable spirit of enterprise. It was more than a record-breaking event, it was a declaration that job creation, empowerment, and shared prosperity are the true currencies of the future. Our partners; from the media to the medical team, from beverage, companies to transportation, logistics, and all our donors, the support received from Board members, global advocates, ambassadors, volunteers and the good people of Ghana; all join hands together in building a sustainable plant for all.

With banners bearing words like Equality, Access, Education, Innovation, and Hope, participants walked to amplify the voices of young people, women, disenfranchised communities, and networks working to transform economies from the ground up.

“Today, Ghana didn’t just walk; we made history for every young person who dares to dream, for every leader who dreams to impact, and for every visionary who lives to build a legacy” said Dr. Joy Smart Francis. “This is what happens when purpose meets movement.”

The Global Entrepreneurship Festival 2025 will continue this legacy later this month with global leaders, innovators, and investors uniting to create sustainable impact for generations to come at the Global Entrepreneurship Festival holding in Accra.
