A man who predicted the destruction of the world through a flood on December 25, 2025, has been remanded into police custody by the Adentan Circuit Court.

Evans Eshun, also known as Ebo Noah, allegedly published videos claiming he was constructing an ark to save people from an impending global flood. Prosecutors say the videos were intended to incite fear and panic among the public.

The Ghana Police Service arrested the accused on December 31, 2025, following an intelligence-led operation at Weija-Gbawe in the Greater Accra Region. He has since admitted to making the videos but acknowledged that the flood claims were false.
