President John Dramani Mahama has paid a heartfelt tribute to his wife, First Lady Lordina Mahama, as the couple marked their 34th wedding anniversary.

In a touching message shared on social media on Wednesday, the President reflected on their journey together, expressing gratitude for Lordina’s unwavering love, support and companionship over the years.

“Thirty-four years and still growing stronger. You’ve been a mother, my anchor, and my friend all rolled into one,” President Mahama wrote.

He went on to reaffirm his love for his wife, adding, “I love you, and a happy 34th anniversary to us, Lordina.”

The message, accompanied by a heart emoji, quickly drew warm reactions from Ghanaians and well-wishers, many of whom congratulated the couple and wished them many more years of happiness together.

President Mahama and Lordina Mahama have been married since 1992 and have built a family together while navigating decades of public service. Throughout the years, Lordina Mahama has remained a prominent figure, championing initiatives focused on women, children and vulnerable communities through the Lordina Foundation.

The couple’s anniversary message has been widely viewed as a reflection of their enduring bond, with many social media users praising the President for publicly celebrating his wife and acknowledging her role as a partner, friend and pillar of support throughout their marriage.
