Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, the National Chief Imam, has called on all government appointees to actively support policies aimed at improving the lives of Ghanaians. Speaking at the Black Star Square during Eid-ul-Fitr prayers, the Chief Imam emphasized that leadership is a responsibility that requires dedication to the welfare of citizens.

He praised John Dramani Mahama for his commitment to the Ghanaian people and urged public officials to work collaboratively with the President in implementing initiatives that foster national development.

The Chief Imam highlighted the need for leaders to prioritize compassion, service, and integrity in their roles, encouraging government officials to remain accountable to the people they serve. He also stressed that the values of discipline, sacrifice, and empathy cultivated during Ramadan should guide both leaders and citizens in everyday life.

Concluding his address, the National Chief Imam prayed for the continued success of the government in improving the nation’s welfare and called on all Ghanaians to contribute to the country’s peace, unity, and prosperity.
