The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), Margaret Ansei, popularly known as Magoo, has led a Ghanaian delegation to the 10th Edition of the Africa Kaizen Annual Conference (AKAC) in South Africa.

The high-level conference, held under the theme “African Industrialization through Fostering Competitive Firms and Value Chains on the Continent,” brought together key stakeholders from across Africa to deliberate on strategies for strengthening businesses and enhancing productivity.
Addressing participants at the event, Mrs. Ansei emphasized that Africa’s economic transformation hinges on building competitive firms and robust value chains. She noted that Ghana remains committed to driving industrial growth through targeted support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The gathering attracted representatives from African Union Member States, Regional Economic Communities, Kaizen institutions, private sector leaders, academia, and development partners, creating a platform for knowledge-sharing and collaboration on quality and productivity improvement initiatives.
Mrs. Ansei expressed gratitude to the National Quality and Productivity Network (NQPN) of South Africa and partners including AUDA-NEPAD, JICA, and PAPA for hosting what she described as a successful and impactful conference.
