Prophet Nigel Gaisie Warns Foreign Affairs Minister Ablakwa Over ‘Spiritual Disrespect’

Popular Ghanaian prophet, Nigel Gaisie, has issued a strong public warning to Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, urging him to remember and honour spiritual figures who supported his rise to prominence.

In a video circulating widely on social media, the outspoken prophet cautioned the minister against disregarding those he claims played spiritual roles in his political journey. According to Gaisie, prophets deserve recognition and respect for their contributions.

“What we want to tell Honourable Okudzeto Ablakwa is that they did not just get to where they are; some people held them up spiritually, and they should give courtesy to where courtesy is due. The prophets are not ordinary people,” he said.

Although the exact cause of the tension between the two remains unclear, the prophet expressed deep disappointment, suggesting that he had exercised restraint out of respect for President John Dramani Mahama and Chief of Staff Julius Debrah.

“Where they are, some people have been there before. I don’t want to say much else, or I’ll step on the toes of the Chief of Staff and the president. But they should understand that I’m a bold prophet,” Gaisie stated, adding that he had previously spoken strongly against former President Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration.

He went on to praise President Mahama, Julius Debrah, and Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu, describing them as leaders he greatly respects.

The comments have sparked widespread debate on social media, with mixed reactions from the public.
