President John Mahama has closed the year with a solid public mandate, recording a 67 per cent job approval rating, according to the December 2025 National Tracking Poll conducted by Global InfoAnalytics.

The approval rating remains unchanged from the previous quarter, signalling sustained public confidence in the President’s leadership. The poll indicates that President Mahama’s support spans all regions, including areas traditionally aligned with the opposition.

Support is strongest among National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters, with 93 per cent approving of his performance. He also enjoys significant backing from floating voters, 69 per cent of whom approve of his leadership. Among New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters, approval stands at 28 per cent. Overall disapproval is recorded at 24 per cent, reflecting only a marginal two-point increase.

The findings suggest that President Mahama continues to consolidate cross-regional and cross-partisan appeal as his administration heads into the new year.
