Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, has revealed that President John Dramani Mahama and First Lady Lordina Mahama spent the Christmas holidays in the Gomoa Central Constituency.

In a Facebook post, the MP described the visit as an honour and noted that it went beyond rest and relaxation at the Crown Forest, a popular resort in the area.

According to A Plus, President Mahama assured residents that the long-awaited Winneba–Swedru Road will be fixed. He also pledged the construction of additional roads across Gomoa Central to improve connectivity, open up communities, and stimulate economic activities.

The MP said the commitments demonstrate the President’s renewed focus on infrastructure development in the Central Region, particularly in Gomoa Central, which he described as “opening up for business.”
