Deputy National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Ayariga Esq., is once again demonstrating the power of youthful leadership, strategy, and grassroots mobilization as the party prepares for a rerun of the Kpandai parliamentary election.

Osman Ayariga , known for his dynamic command over the NDC youth front, set social media buzzing on Monday with a short but energizing post aimed at firing up the party’s youth base in Kpandai. His message —

“Kpa Kpa Kpandai
GREEN ARMY
4-4-2! Downball ⚽️
🔥🔥🔥”

— quickly ignited enthusiasm among young party supporters who see him as the face of a new, confident, and strategic generation of NDC leaders.

*Taking Early Command of the Youth Front*

Although the Electoral Commission has not yet set an official date for the rerun, Osman Ayariga has already moved ahead of the curve, activating the NDC’s youth machinery in the constituency.

His swift action mirrors his leadership during the Ablekuma North rerun in July, where he played a pivotal role in coordinating youth engagement — a move widely credited with helping secure a victory for the NDC.

Party insiders say Osman’s early command in Kpandai is “no surprise,” describing him as a leader who blends passion with planning, and charisma with clear political strategy.

*Leadership on Display*

For many observers, Osman Ayariga’s conduct in the wake of the court ruling has once again underlined why he is seen as one of the most influential youth leaders in Ghanaian politics today.

“His ability to energize the grassroots, especially young voters, is unmatched,” a senior NDC youth organizer noted. “Osman Ayariga doesn’t wait for instructions — he moves with vision. That is what wins elections.”

*Background: Court Orders Fresh Election in Kpandai*
The renewed political activity follows a ruling by the Tamale High Court, which ordered a rerun of the Kpandai parliamentary election within 30 days.

His Lordship Justice Emmanuel Brew Plange delivered the ruling after upholding a petition filed by the NDC parliamentary candidate and former MP, Daniel Nsala Wakpal. The petition challenged the election of Matthew Nyindam, citing irregularities in 41 out of 152 polling stations.

The court found that the December 7 parliamentary election in Kpandai was not conducted in full compliance with CI 127, particularly regarding the accuracy of Form 8A (Pink Sheets) and the proper declaration of results.

With the court nullifying results from the affected polling stations, the Electoral Commission has been directed to conduct a fresh poll to determine the rightful winner.

*A Youth Leader Rising to the Moment*

As the NDC gears up for the rerun, Osman Ayariga’s proactive involvement is fast becoming the rallying point for the party’s youth. His style — youthful yet disciplined, vibrant yet deeply strategic — continues to win admiration within the party and beyond.

Many young voters in Kpandai have already begun mobilizing under his “Green Army” call, signaling strong grassroots momentum even before an official date is set.

Political analysts say this moment offers another opportunity for Osman Ayariga to cement his reputation as the emerging pillar of youth leadership within the NDC, and a key figure in the party’s long-term electoral strategy.

With his steady rise, Osman Ayariga is increasingly being seen not just as a youth organizer, but as a future force in national leadership — one whose influence grows with every political battle he steps into.
