NPP Primaries Could End in Court — Prophet Nigel Gaisie Warns as He Foresees Bawumia Win

Prophet Nigel Gaisie, leader of the Prophetic Hill Church, has warned of possible legal and security challenges following the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) upcoming presidential primaries, even as he prophesied a victory for former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Speaking at the church’s Watch Night Service on December 31, 2025, the outspoken prophet claimed that the January 31 NPP primaries could be contentious, with the results potentially ending up in court if party leaders fail to manage the process carefully.

Prophet Gaisie revealed that in his spiritual vision, another contender, whom he referred to as “Mr Tesite,” initially appeared to have won the contest. However, he said fervent prayers and intercessions by men of God reversed the outcome.

“I saw Mr Tesite going as though he has won. Then I saw pleadings. I saw men of God praying. And I saw that it was switched. I saw Dr Bawumia,” he told the congregation.

He attributed the change in the outcome to spiritual intervention, stressing that the prayers he saw were responsible for transferring the victory to Dr Bawumia, who was the NPP’s flagbearer in the 2024 presidential election.

The prophet also cautioned that the primaries could be marred by disputes and unrest if stakeholders do not exercise caution, pointing to visions of security challenges after the election.

Prophet Gaisie concluded by urging Dr Bawumia to intensify his efforts ahead of the primaries, while emphasizing that his role was only to declare what he had seen.

“I have spoken as a Prophet; may the will of the Lord be done,” he said.
