President John Dramani Mahama arrived in Doha on Saturday, December 6, to participate in two major sessions at the 2024 Doha Forum.

Mahama is scheduled to deliver opening remarks on the theme “Education as Justice in Times of Crisis.” He will later join a panel discussion focusing on “Economic Empowerment in Africa: Pathways to Inclusive Prosperity.”

During the visit, he is also expected to hold bilateral discussions with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.

The president travelled aboard a Qatar Airways Executive Jet provided by the State of Qatar and is expected to return on Sunday, December 7.

The Doha Forum, held annually since 2003, convenes global policymakers and leaders to explore solutions to pressing international challenges under its core theme, “Diplomacy, Dialogue, Diversity.”
