National Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Hajia Zaynab Joyce Mahama who is seeking for a second term has said her office in collaboration with some generous organizations and individuals is establishing entrepreneurial skills development centres to train women for various trades and empower them to rally behind the National Democratic Congress.
Hajia Zaynab Mahama said this particular project is in progress as the first one will be opened in the Volta Region very soon.
She explained that the centres will be managed by constituency women organizers and supervised by the regional women organizers.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s flagship programme, Ekosii Sen, the NDC National Women Organizer said that one of the reasons why she is seeking for reelection is to be able to complete all the good foundation she is building for NDC women.
She also mentioned that a lot plans and strategies have been initiated to empower the women financially to boost their businesses and make them financially sound to enhance their zeal to work hard for victory in 2020.
‘We have engaged our party financiers and like-minded people who agree with our ideologies to set up a micro-credit facility to support our women organizers financially for business purposes”.
