Sammy Gyamfi launches campaign for NDC National Communications Officer

The race for the leadership of the main opposition political party is getting hotter by day as new faces continue to express their interest to take over the mantle.

The latest to officially announce his participation in the contest as an aspirant is Sammy Gyamfi, a dynamic and intelligent communicator of the National Democratic Congress who is vying for the position of National Communications Officer.

He launched his campaign on the 31st July, 2018 at the Odododiodio Constituency in the Greater-Accra region which was attended by a huge number of NDC activists and sympathizers.

A section of the audience told that Sammy Gyamfi is undoubtedly the kind of Communication Officer the NDC needs to direct its communication machinery and articulate the need for Ghanaians to reject the ruling New Patriotic Party and vote the National Democratic Congress into power in the 2020 general elections.

Sammy Gyamfi who has been a grassroot member of the Party started his main political activities as a student leader and rose through the ranks as a Public Relations Officer of the Tertiary Education Institutional Network of the NDC KNUST branch and subsequently became the president. He was later appointed as the Personal Aide and Spokesperson to the former Kumasi Mayor, Hon Kojo Bonsu.

At a time the National Democratic Congress was largely thought to be weak and broken but Sammy Gyamfi and some other young faces like Baba Musa Imoro, Alex Asafo Agyei, Abass Nurudeen and others seem to have revived the zeal and hope amongst sympathizers of the NDC with their smart communication skills.

Sammy Gyamfi is rumored to be backed by some top shots in the party and is loved across the country for his smart and diligent analysis of socio-political issues.
